Lisa is an author and illustrator of children’s books, currently based in the Midwest, United States.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Arts in Medieval Studies, and a PhD in American Studies. Currently, she works as a historian and creates storybook worlds in her free time.

Her works, featuring traditional and digital illustration, draw from the people, places, and experiences that have fed her imagination since childhood.
